Welcome to the official home of Timor-Leste Cricket. I am Dr. Muhammad Tayyeb Javed, and it is my great honour to address you.

This is a story of passion, resilience, and a national dream—a commitment to transforming an unknown sport into a movement that empowers our youth and lifts our nation’s spirit. The Timor-Leste Cricket Board (TLCB) was founded on a simple vision: to make the discipline, teamwork, and confidence of cricket accessible to every citizen.

Through tireless effort, we have grown into a legally recognized national sports federation, securing our status in 2014. Our resilience has already put us on the global map, highlighted by our International Debut at the Bali Blast International Cricket League in 2024.

Our mission is focused on three main goals: establishing Timor-Leste’s first international-standard cricket ground, implementing robust youth training programs, and achieving consistent international recognition.

The lack of a permanent facility is currently our biggest hurdle. We are dedicated to building our National Cricket Academy and call upon all—individuals, organizations, and sponsors—to invest in this critical infrastructure.
